What is Gemix and who provides it?

Gemix is a video slot game developed by Play'n GO. The game plays out on a 7-reel, 7-row grid and offers 20 paylines. Players can place bets ranging from a minimum of £0.10 up to a maximum of £5.00 per spin.

How do you play Gemix?

To begin playing, use the bet buttons at the bottom of the screen to select your stake. You can increase or decrease the bet using the plus and minus buttons. How are wins achieved in Gemix?

Gemix uses a cascading system where symbols drop into a 7x7 grid. To win, you must land a cluster of 5 or more matching symbols that touch horizontally or vertically. Winning symbols are removed from the grid, causing new symbols to fall into their places. This continues as long as new winning combinations are formed during the same game round.

What is the crystal charge meter and what happens when it fills?

All wins in a single game round add to the crystal charge meter. When the meter becomes fully charged, and no further cascades are possible, the crystal charge effect activates and triggers one of four possible features:

  • Chain Lightning: Two opposite corner symbols send out an electrical arc, transforming hit symbols into a copy of one of those corner symbols.
  • Light Beam: Light shoots vertically and horizontally from a selected symbol, changing all symbols in that row and column.
  • Crystal Warp: A selected symbol and all those matching it on the grid are transformed into other symbols.
  • Nova Blast: A chosen symbol explodes, removing adjacent symbols, then retracts to form a cluster of identical symbols.

After the effect, new symbols drop in and the crystal charge meter can charge again with further wins in the same round.

What is Super Charge and how is it triggered?

If wins continue and the crystal charge meter is fully charged again before cascading ends, Super Charge may be triggered. When this occurs, all wins for that game round, including those from the active feature, are multiplied by 3. Super Charge can only be triggered once per round.

How do the different worlds in Gemix work?

Gemix features multiple worlds, each with unique patterns and their own wild symbol. Every world has three different patterns. The active pattern is displayed on the screen. To clear a pattern, you must land wins on the highlighted grid positions. Once a pattern is cleared, the next one is activated within that world. Clearing all three patterns progresses you to the next world, awarding the World Bonus, which increases with every win during that game round.

What special wild symbols are available in each world?

  • Miner’s world: Wild symbols drop from the top and replace regular symbols on the grid, with up to 10 wilds appearing at once.
  • Princess’ world: An edge symbol is chosen as the starting point and turned wild, spreading to adjacent symbols outward to the edge.
  • Wizard’s world: Up to 8 sticky wilds can appear, remaining in place even if they form part of a winning combination, but only for one game round or until the crystal charge is triggered.

What happens if my game round is interrupted?

If your game round is disrupted, all information and bets are saved until you return and reopen the game. You may continue your unfinished game from where it left off. Bets that remain unresolved for more than 90 days will be voided and forfeited to charity. In the event of a malfunction, all pays and plays are voided.
